Oil on Canvas, framed with floater frame. As pond lilies mature their stems elongate and tower over their pads. Their stems curl about in the air leading one’s eye through a labyrinth of visual spaces. The goal of this snakelike dance is for spreading their seeds. Ultimately the pods droop allowing the seeds to fall away.
